Life at Matlock College

Matlock College was set up just after the second World War to train teachers and its development is summarised here, the increasing numbers, the increasingly academic courses and education for teachers beyond that. There are photographs and personal memories of events during its forty years or so. The list of references directs readers to the few documentary sources.
