Otley Church

There were several families of well-to-do Maudes in the West Riding of
Yorkshire from at least the 1300s, probably all inter-connected. This is
an account of one small branch, The Maudes of Burley-in-Wharfedale and
Otley from the mid 1500s to 1894 when Harriet Maude Riley died and from
whom I can trace my direct descent on my father Denis Riley's side.
